It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Wilfrido Garza – our loving brother, uncle, friend, and teacher to many of us whose lives he touched. Wilfrido devoted his career as an educator and counselor to students in Texas. He also participated in many philanthropic activities and actively created businesses in support of his hometown of Rio Grande City.
Wilfrido passed on July 25, , 2023. He is predeceased by his parents Filemon Garza Sr. and Guadalupe T. Garza; his sisters Isabel G. Brown and Felicia G. Garza. He is survived by brother and sisters, Filemon Garza, Jr. (Teresa), Irene G. Stach; Virginia Guzman (Tadeo), Olga Gonzalez (Enrique), and Yolanda Garza, as well as many nieces and nephews.
