Obituary for Ronald Neal Gray
Ronald Neal Gray, 82, of McAllen, TX passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025. Born on December 13, 1942, in Detroit, MI, he was the beloved son of Abraham and Laura (Birnbaum) Gray. Ronald was preceded in death by his sister, Rosalyn.
A proud veteran, Ronald served in the US Army before dedicating much of his life to Ford Motor Company as an auto worker. His strong work ethic and commitment to family defined him. Ronald shared 52 beautiful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Maria, who survives him.
He is also survived by his two sons: Dr. David Gray (Emily) of Edinburg, TX, and Christopher Henry Esq. (Jeannine) of Cranston, RI. Ronald was a loving grandfather to five grandchildren: Lily, Elijah, and Adam Gray, and Apollo and Phoenix Schoos-Henry, who brought him immense joy.
Ronald will be laid to rest in a small ceremony on Saturday, April 19, 2025, in Rio Grande City, TX. His legacy of love, service, and family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
McAllen/Rio Grande City - Ronald Neal Gray, 82, died Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at The Gardens at Brook Ridge in Pharr, Texas. Funeral arrangements will be under the direction of Sanchez Funeral Home in Rio Grande City, TX.
