Roberto Salinas

Roberto Salinas, beloved husband, father, grandfather, father in law, and brother was called to be with
the Lord on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 in La Rosita, TX with his beloved family by his side.
Roberto Salinas (February 17, 1947 – October 12, 2022) was born in Los Naranjos Ranch, Texas and lived
in La Rosita, TX until he passed. He made his living as a truck driver and in his later years worked for
SunBelt Company as a heavy equipment operator.
Roberto is preceded in death by his father Filiberto Salinas, mother Esther Salinas, sisters Elida Olivarez,
Arminda (Kita) Salinas, Hermelinda (Mine) Ramon and Francisca (Francis) Gonzalez, brothers Armando
Salinas and Enrique (Kike) Salinas.
Roberto is survived by his wife Hilda Salinas (51 yrs of Marriage), daughters Esmeralda (Dave) Jones,
Marissa (Michael) Smith, Linda (Robert) Diaz, Teresa (Abel) Ramirez, grandsons Derek (Kimberly) Jones,
Bryan Jones, Deaven Diaz, Diego Diaz, Michael Smith, Abel Ramirez Jr., granddaughter Ayssa Itzel
Ramirez and great granddaughter Kendall Blair Jones.
The Salinas family would like to thank all who expressed their love and affection with their presence,
words of comfort, prayers, flowers and all family and friends who were part of Roberto’s life.

Rio Grande City / La Rosita - Roberto Salinas, is with great sorrow, we announce the passing on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the age, of 75 at his residence in La Rosita, TX. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID-19 we are requesting all guest to please wear a mask and observe social distancing request per Family.  Services are entrusted to Sanchez Funeral Home in Rio Grande City, Tx.
