Rene Muñoz III was born October 30, 1951, in Fort Benning, Georgia to loving parents Rene and Amparo Muñoz. Rene married the love of his life, his best friend, and sweetheart Alma Salinas Muñoz, and they shared in the blessing of having three children Rene Muñoz IV, Cynthia A. Muñoz, and Felix Muñoz. Rene is survived by his wife (Alma), children (Rene IV (Barbara), Cynthia, Felix (Mariaelena), and grandchildren (Rene Roberto, Romeo Roman, Andrea Carolina, Eliana Janae, Ciana Renee, Miliana Anae, and Vianey Jeanette). He was extremely proud of their accomplishments and held a special place in his heart for his family. On January 17, 2024, Rene was called upon by the Lord, surrounded by his wife and children, to be reunited with his parents, brother Rene Munoz Jr, relatives, and friends. Rene is now basking in the presence of the Lord while watching down on his family from heaven. Throughout his life, he was a hardworking man devoted to his family and his faith. Due to
Rene’s strong beliefs and values, instilled hard work, dedication, determination, and the importance of family to his children. Rene was always able to persevere through obstacles in life, and to most was viewed as a strong and formidable man. Rene was fond of making precious memories with his family and friends. He held refuge in both his family and the ranch. The ranch was his second home where he made endearing memories with his family and friends. Rene was not one to be deterred from hard work or a fight against opposition and temptation as said in Ephesians 6:12. He cherished the blessing of having a secure and united family which kept him strong. Rene was kind, humble, and a rock for his family. He had a way of always reassuring me that everything would turn out in the end of it all. Rene was and always will be, a loved husband, father, grandfather, and dearest friend to many. He will live on in our hearts through cherished memories and thoughts. This is not a farewell or goodbye, but rather a see you later.
