Roma-Our Beloved mother, Rebeca G. Peña,92 years old, a resident of Los Arrieros, Texas, passed away at Retama Nursing Home in Rio Grande City on January 21, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guillermo Peña, and sisters, Evita Chapa and Elia Salinas
She is survived by a son, Guillermo "Willie" Peña (San Juanita), two daughters, Clarisa P. Garcia (Eloy E.) and Juanita P. Salinas (Horacio): four grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2014 at St. Joseph & St. Jude Mission Church in Salineño.
