Ramona Guevara

Rio Grande City- Ramona Rodriguez Guevara, 92, went peacefully with our lord on Tuesday December 20, 2022 at her residence. She was on born November 21, 1930 in Tacubaya Ranch in Brooks County, Tx. She was preceded in death by her parents Antonio and Katarina Rodriguez, husband Crisoforo Guevara, son Ricardo Guevara, son in law Jesus Ortiz and all her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter Viola Ortiz, her grandchildren Jesus Alberto, Analisa and Veronica Ortiz, great grandchildren Matthew, Fabian, Annalee ,Valentino and so many nieces and nephews.Mrs. Guevara worked for over 25 years with RGCCISD as cook and custodian. She loved hosting parties, making menudo, traveling with her nieces and nephews to visit families. Loved listening and dancing to music and spending time with her family, She will be missed dearly by so many. Services will be held in Sanchez Funeral Home in Rio Grande City. Viewing will ñ December 21, 2022from 1- 8pm. Thursday 8:30-9:30following church service at 10 am at San Pablo Church in La Puerta, Tx.
