Norma Irene Sanchez

Rio Grade City-Norma Irene Sanchez, 70, died Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Mission Regional Medical Center after a short illness. She was a lifetime resident of Rio Grande City.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Santos and Mina Sanchez and brother Noe R. Sanchez. She is survived by her sisters Maria Elena Sanchez and Lamar S. Martinez and a sister-in-law, Rebecca Sanchez, her nieces, Marla Sanchez, Myra Sanchez and Nephews, Ronald and David Sanchez.

Norma attended Immaculate Conception School, Rio Grande City High School and Business College. Work experiences include Sanchez Insurance Agency, Rio Grande City Chamber of Commerce and Rivera Massage Therapy Services.

She was a member of the Woodmen of the World Organization, a member of the church choir and involved in other church groups. She served as a volunteer in different civic organizations.

Norma was always active in her school reunion activities, keeping in touch with her many classmates.

Norma touched the lives of man wonderful people and will be remembered for her friendliness laughter and happy smile.
