RIO GRANDE CITY / LA GRULLA - MARIA VERA, 85, DIED ON SATURDAY, MARCH 14, 2020 AT SOLARA HOSPITAL IN MCALLEN, TX. SANCHEZ FUNERAL HOME OF RIO GRANDE CITY WILL BE IN CHARGE OF HER FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS.
Maria Socorro "Coyo" Vera, 85, died on Sat. March 14, 2020 at Mcallen Medical Center.
She was born on August 31, 1934, in La Grulla, Tx. to Cecilio and Angelita Rivera.
She is survived by her children: Gilberto (Norma) Vera Jr., Efrain (Angelita) Vera Sr., Aida (Mario) Lopez and Maribel (Javier) Solis; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Gilberto Vera Sr. as well as her three brothers.
