Rosie Bryan, 74, from Edinburg, Texas went into eternal rest Friday, July
30, 2021 at Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas.
Rosie was the daughter of the late Fidel and Amelia R. Perez from El
Sauz, Texas and was preceded in death by her husband John Vernon
Bryan, Sr., brother Benito Perez and her beloved niece Laura Alicia
Guerra. Rosie is survived by her loving children John Vernon Bryan, Jr.
(LeeAnn) and Sandra Ann Bryan, 3 grand-daughters, her sister Micaela
(Alvaro) Rodriguez, her best friend Josie Garces, and numerous nieces
and nephews.
Rosie attended Roma ISD, was a 1965 graduate from Roma High School
and went on to receive her Business degree from McAllen Business
College. Rosie worked with the Texas Department of State and Human
Services in Starr and Cameron Counties and the Hidalgo County Health
Department until she retired.
Rosie loved gardening and loved growing tomatoes, squash, and
peppers, and loved sharing her crops with friends, family, and neighbors.
Rosie also loved fishing, spending quality time outdoors, and loved
going to the ranch in El Sauz. Rosie will be greatly missed.
