Garciasville, Tx - Leonel Saenz, 79, was called by The Lord on October 15, 2014.
Mr. Saenz is survived by his wife Minnie Garcia Saenz, and his 5 children, Cleo (Joshua) Horton, Brenda Saenz, Leonel Jr. (San Juanita), Sabrina (Luis Ricardo) De La Rosa, Candelaria (Reynol) Saldivar.
Mr. Saenz was also survived by his 14 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Iglesia De Gracia in Garciasville, TX from 9 to 9 today, Friday with a service at 6pm, and Saturday 12 to 5 with service at 3pm. Interment will follow at Mr Saenz's private residence in Garciasville, TX.
Mr. Saenz was a pilar of the community. He served our country in the military with US Army. He was an educator for 48 years retiring as a counselor, always believing education is of high importance. He was a founding member of the Union Water Supply in La Casita, TX. He instilled strong Christian values and known to be a pilar of Iglesia De Gracia in Garciasville, TX. His educational values and Christian faith has been sewed to all his children, family and friends.

Sanchez Funeral Home of Rio Grande City will be in charge of his funeral arrangements.
