Leonel Gonzalez 84 died Sunday June 19, 2016 at Mission Hospital with his family at his side.
Leonel was born October 15, 1931 in Rio Grande City, TX to Luciano and Felicitas Gonzalez.
Leonel married the late Emilia Moreno Gonzalez was a native of Rio Grande City were he grew up loving sport, hunting, and fishing. He worked as a truck driver in the local area and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Leonel is survived by his children Leonel Jr. (Andrea)Gonzalez, Ana Luiza Gonzalez, Lee (Melinda) Gonzalez, Luciano (Anabel) Gonzalez and five grandchildren Alma (Joey)Gutierrez, Leonel III (Mary Jo) Gonzalez, Alfredo Gonzalez, Annette Gonzalez, Amanda Rodriguez and three great grandchildren Damien Roy Gonzalez, Joey Gutierrez, Lily Gonzalez.
Visitation will be Tuesday June 21,2016 at 10am to 9pm at Sanchez Funeral Home in Rio Grande City, TX the Rosary will be at 7pm. Funeral Service on Wednesday June 22, 2016 at 10 am at Immaculate Conception Church in Rio Grande City. TX
