Lauro Tanguma Jr.

Lauro Tanguma Jr (Coy), 76, of Roma, Texas passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 17, 2024. Coy was the son of Lauro and Trinidad Tanguma, graduated from Roma High School and fought in the Vietnam War with the United States Army. Coy worked for Roma ISD as a Maintenance Supervisor for 33 years until his retirement. He was also a proud and active member of the VFW in Roma. 

Coy is survived by his wife Edna Nira, three children Omar, Lauro III (Larry), and Selma, and two grandchildren Jacob and Adrik. He is also survived by his two sisters Beatriz and Virginia.

Visitation and viewing at Sanchez Funeral Home on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM with Rosary at 4:30 PM and concluding with Military Honors Service at 6:00 PM. Funeral arrangements will be under the direction of Sanchez Memorial Funeral Home in Roma, TX.
