Rio Grande City-John R. Dreumont, 81, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, TX. Sanchez Funeral Home of Rio Grande City is in charge of arrangements.



John R. Dreumont, born August 31, 1933, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. He was 81-years-old.







John Dreumont was a life-long resident of Rio Grande City, Texas. After serving in the United States Army, he and his wife, Maria Emma Dreumont, owned and operated a successful local business, Dreumont Refrigeration, for many years.







In addition to being a loving husband and respected member of the Rio Grande City community, he was also a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.







John Dreumont is preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Gladys Dreumont; his sister, Olga Garcia; his brother, Carlos Dreumont; his son, John R. Dreumont, Jr.; and his granddaughter, Melanie J. Falcon. He is survived by his wife, Maria Emma Dreumont; his daughters, Cindy Dreumont Falcon (Gene), Sharon Dreumont, and Laurie Dreumont (Silver) and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren







Funeral arrangements are being entrusted to the care of Sanchez Funeral Home of Rio Grande City, Texas. The family will be receiving family and friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, from 4pm, with a rosary at 6pm. The funeral mass will be at the Immaculate Conception Church on Thursday, May 28th, 2015, at 8am. Burial will follow at Rio Grande City Cemetery.
