La Grulla: Gumercindo Zambrano Jr. 101 passed away peacefully Monday, January 6, 2025, at his residence in La Grulla.
Mr. Zambrano was a hero of the community, he served his country during World War II, cared for the children of his community as a bus driver, was a carpenter who helped build the original Holy Family church in La Grulla, and served his community as Justice of the Peace. He was well liked and respected by all who knew him and will be dearly missed by family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Gumercindo and Maria Isabel Zambrano, his wife Dora Solis and his four siblings. Mr. Zambrano is survived by his six children: Maria Enriqueta (+Hector), Gumercindo (Teresa), Minerva, Dianna, Amado (Enedelia) and Yolanda (+Leonel), 14 Grandchildren, 19 Greatgrandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
