Fidencio Guerra

                Fidencio Guerra C. 83 years of age of San Carlos, Texas went to be with our Lord surrounded by his family on Thursday, April 26, 2018.  He was born on October 13, 1934 in Delmita, Texas  to Federico and Cristina (Clarke) Guerra.  He was married to Idolina V. Guerra on April 12, 1959.  He served his country in the armed forces and his community as Starr County Farm Bureau President for many years.  He worked at Ramirez Ford for 33 years and retired from there to continue the farm and ranch lifestyle that was his passion.

He was an Icon at the local sales barn every Friday.  He was a wonderful  friend to many people.  He is survived by his loving wife Idolina V. Guerra, his daughter Cristina (Daniel) Flores, his two sons Roel Omar (Reyna) Guerra and Fidencio Guerra, Jr.  He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren Roel Omar, Jr. (Addy) Guerra, Roxanne (Anthony) Olivarez, Fidencio Guerra III, Jason Daniel (Yvette Nicole) Guerra, Justin Jacob Guerra and his 3 great grandchildren, Aleyna, RaeAnne, and McCrae.  

Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 pm on Saturday April 28, 2018 with a rosary @ 7p.m.  and Sunday April 29, 2018 from 1 to 9 p.m. with a rosary @ 7p.m. at Sanchez Funeral Home in Rio Grande City, Texas.  Funeral service will take place on Monday April 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at our Lady of Guadalupe Church in El Sauz, Texas. Burial to follow at San Carlos Cemetery.
