Diana Maria Leal, 59 years of age, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 17, 2024, in McAllen, Texas. Ms. Leal was born on April 12, 1965, to Mr. Elias Villarreal and Mrs. Maria del Rosario Garza Villarreal. Ms. Leal is preceded in death by her father, Mr. Elias Villarreal, and her niece Kimberly Flores. Left to cherish her memories and lasting love are her sons, Noe Leal, Jr (Dee Anna) and Eron Leal; her fur baby, Charlie; her siblings, Elias Villarreal, Jr (Sylvia), Cynthia Garza (Jesse), Anabel Flores (Juan), and Yaranel Rodriguez (Daniel); and her mother, Maria del Rosario Garza Villarreal. 

Diana Maria Leal was born in Roma, Texas, and was raised in Rio Grande City, Texas. Her life was filled with long-life achievements, such as graduating from Rio Grande City High, becoming the photo lab manager for H-E-B, and later becoming the H-E-B Gas Station Lead in Rio Grande City. Ms. Leal was able to retire from H-E-B after 40 successful years. Ms. Leal also sent her sons to college. Ms. Leal was also fulfilled with her relationships as she was easily approachable, loving, caring, kind, and mindful, and she filled the room with her laugh and brightened the room with her smile.

As per her wishes, Ms. Diana Maria Leal will be cremated and laid to rest on November 30, 2024, at TBD, in Rio Grande City County Cemetery in Rio Grande City, Texas.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Sanchez Funeral Home.

Special Message

“O gentlest Hear of Jesus ever present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive souls in purgatory have mercy on the soul of Thy departed servant. Be not severe in Thy Judgment but let some drops of Thy Precious Blood fall upon the devouring flames and do Thou O merciful Savior send Thy angels to conduct Thy departed servant to a place of refreshment, light and peace.”
