Azucena "Susie" Guerra

Rio Grande City-Our beloved wife,mother,and friend, Maria Azucena Guerra,78, entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 24, 2015 in Edinburg. Azucena was from Rio Grande City, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her grandson Elliot Solis.

She is survived by her husband Ramiro Guerra-daughters: America (Rodolfo) Cantu, Dora (Marlon) Facturan, Diana (Carlos) Solis and Olga (Javier) Solis. Grandchidren, Alejandro Cantu, Eric Cantu, Erin Solis, April Solis and Ramiro Facturan.

We would like to thank McAllen Medical Center ICU Staff And Amara Hospice Care for their wonderful care d attention placed on our mother.

Visitations will begin on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m.. Funeral mass will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at Rio Grande City Cemetery. Sanchez Funeral Home of Rio Grande City is in charge of arrangements.
