LA CASITA - Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Aurora Saenz Bazan, 92, peacefully left her earthly dwelling to be welcomed into her glorious eternal home

on Monday, December 30, 2013. She was born on February 22, 1921 to Gilberto and Isabel Saenz in Rio Grande City, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Jose Trinidad Bazan; her sister, Estela Dominguez; and her brother, Encarnacion Saenz.






Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lucio (Teresa), Isabel Guerra (Derly), Jose Gilberto (Dora), Jose Trinidad (Cynthia) and Alma Rahn (Wilf); brothers, Gilberto Saenz Jr., Francisco Saenz, and Leonel Saenz; sisters, Emilia Perez and Tomasita Cruz. Aurora also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.









Aurorita, as she was lovingly known, was a devoted member of Iglesia de Gracia MB church in Garciasville, TX. Her love of cooking, baking and sewing for others was a living testimony of her generous and selfless nature. We will forever celebrate the gift that Aurorita was to us, her family.









Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1 and Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 1:00-9:00 pm at Sanchez Funeral Homes in Rio Grande City. Funeral services will be held today, Friday, January 03, 2014 at 10:00 am at Iglesia de Gracia MB church in Garciasville. Burial will follow at Garciasville Cemetery.

Funeral Services are under the direction of Sanchez Funeral Home of Rio Grande City, Texas.
