RIO GRANDE CITY - Aureliano J. Resendez entered into eternal rest, Friday, August 15, 2014 at Amara Hospice, Edinburg, Texas.
Aureliano was born April 23, 1927 to Jose Resendez and Narcisa Guerra. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Agueda S. Resendez, daughter Patricia D. Andrede (Arnoldo), brother Isauro Resendez.
He is survived by his children, Mariana A. Storm (Bruce), Teresa N. Alaniz (Eduardo), Yvonne V. Saenz (Julio), Ricardo X. Gutierrez, Esperanza R. Garcia (David), Glorial G. Gutierrez, Sister Estefana Vela (Efrain), Nephews, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will start today, Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 10:00am - 9:00pm, with a Holy Rosary Recited at 7:00pm. Her Funeral Mass will be on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 10:00am Nuestra Sr. De Guadalupe in El Sauz, Texas. Burial will follow at San Carlos Family Cemetery, El Sauz.
Special Thanks to Retama Manor in Edinburg, Edinburg Regional Hospital and Amara Hospice who took excellent care of him.
