Arturo Silva

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Arturo A. Silva, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, who passed away peacefully on December 15, 2024, at the age of 73 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a pillar of our family, known for his happy, positive attitude, his generous, kind heart, and his unwavering love for his loved ones. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rosa H. Silva, his parents, Benito and Adelina Silva, and his sister, Guillermina Lorenzana. Arturo is survived by his children, San Juanita Irene Silva, Rose Mary Rodriguez (Pablo), and Benito A. Silva (Mireyda), his grandchildren, Andrew Silva, Arturo J. Alvarado, Valerie Alvarado, Yasir Silva, Yahir Silva, and Allison Rodriguez, his siblings Jose Luis Silva (Juany), Mario Silva (Jeanie), Amparo Salinas (Homero +), and Graciela Garza (Joe). A celebration of life will be held at Sanchez Funeral Home in Roma, TX on December 19, 2024, from 1pm to 8pm, with the rosary from 6 to 7pm, and a mass from 10 to 11am at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church on December 20, 2024. Cremation to follow and internment of ashes at a future date.
