Arturo Garza Jr

Arturo Garza Jr. (Tata) passed away at the age of 68 years on Saturday May 3rd. He was a lifelong resident of El Remolino Ranch, Texas. Arturo was born in Rio Grande City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arturo and Severina Garza and brother Dr. Jesus R. Garza. He is survived by a brother Martin Garza (San Juanita) and sister Noemi Flores (Arturo). He is also survived by a Sister-in-law Imelda Garza, numerous nieces and nephews. Arturo graduated from Rio Grande City High School in 1965. He graduated from Pan American University in 1972. He was a dedicated school teacher for 14 years. He went on to become a successful business owner of The Ranch Store till his retirement. He enjoyed ranching for most of his life and was a sports fan. He was much loved and respected by his family and friends. Services to be held at Sanchez Funeral Home Rio Grande City, Funeral Mass to follow at Santana Rosa De Lima (La Rosita Texas) at 4:00 p.m. May 5, 2014.
