Alicia R. Salinas

EL Sauz, Texas - Alicia R. Salinas beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, 85 was called by our Lord on April 12, 2018 in Starr County Memorial Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Starr County. Alicia was very social person with great charisma. She was loved by many for her friendly personality. Alicia is preceded in death by her parents Gumercindo and Maria Ramos, her husband Uvaldo Salinas Sr., and her brothers and sisters.

Alicia is survived by her children, Salvador Salinas, Temple, TX, Melba Salinas Landez (Hector), McAllen, TX, Uvaldo Salinas Jr. (Maricela), Rio Grande City, TX, David Salinas ,Rio Grande City, TX, and  Norma Alicia Salinas, Rio Grande City, TX. Her grandchildren, Maria Veronica Salinas Martinez (Noe), of San Antonio, TX, Cristina Annette Salinas Lynch (Zackary), Austin, TX, Hector Javier Landez, McAllen, TX, Uvaldo Salinas III, Dallas, TX, Luis Carlos Landez, McAllen, TX, David Salinas Jr., Rio Grande City, TX, Victoria Isabel Landez, McAllen, TX, Sonia Yvette Salinas, Rio Grande City, TX, Daniella Sopia Salinas, Rio Grande City, TX., and one Great grandchild, Dylan Martinez, San Antonio, TX.

Visitations will be held on Saturday, April 14th, 2018, from 1:00 -9:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 15th, 2018 from 1:00 - 9:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Sanchez Funeral Home in Rio Grande City. A mass will be held on Monday, April 16th, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Rio Grande City. Burial services will follow at Fairgrounds Cemetery in Rio Grande City, TX.
