On Wednesday October 16th, 2019, Alice Ahearn Pena, loving wife and mother of 4 daughters passed away at the age of 82.
She was born in Rio Grande City, TX on August 27th, 1937. To parents Daniel Ahearn and Ygnacia Juarez Ahearn and 6 sisters,1 brother and 2 half brothers.
She was married to Ramiro V. Pena from San Isidro, TX and moved to San Antonio, TX to raise their 4 daughters. Alice and Ramiro retired back to their ranch in San Isidro were Ramiro built them a home and raised cattle.
She loved Ranchlife, her cactus garden, working outdoors, and playing Loteria with her friends at the San Isidro Community center. Her passion was all about style and being a fashionista, dressing up like a doll with her matching jewelry, nail polish and shoes. A very beautiful woman. Alice has reunited in the heavens with her husband of 63 years.
She is preceded in death by her late husband Ramiro V. Pena and survived by her 4 daughters and 2 son-in-laws, Veronica & Wayne, Velma & Archie, Verna and Velda. 10 grand kids, Amy (Chad), Carrie, Crystal (Gilbert), Kimberly (Joey), Robert, Casey, Clinton, Cody, Alexander and Aric and 6 great grandkids.
